The Power of the Vote Collective is a non-partisan, non-endorsing get-out-the-vote campaign, collectively powered by community organizations toward the goal of maximizing Black voter participation in Pinellas County, Florida, for the 2024 general election.
GOALS
- To set new records for Black voter participation in 2024 through the power of a collective approach
- To close the racial voter turnout gap in Pinellas County
Power of the Vote partners so far include the St. Petersburg Branch NAACP, the Pinellas County Urban League, African American Heritage Association, the Woodson African American Museum of Florida, Equity Institute (formerly 2020/One Community), Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Zeta Upsilon Omega Chapter, National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) Metropolitan Section, Felton-Howard Law, Black Voters Matter, Pinellas County National Organization for Women, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Gamma Zeta Chapter.
