Major elements of the Power of the Vote campaign include:
- Trainings on What 501c3s Can & Cannot Do During this Election Cycle
- The Family Vote Captain Project to recruit 1,000 captains committed to ensuring that everyone in their family has a vote plan
- GOTV Ambassadors Program for younger and emerging leaders, offering training and live leadership and volunteer activities to heighten participation in the election
- Reclaim Your Vote outreach to inactive voters, encouraging them to renew their registrations
- Speakers Bureau of key leaders who do in-person speaking engagements and media appearances (TV, radio, podcast, etc.) to raise awareness about the imperative of political participation
- Hot Topic Media Series Multimedia panels and focus groups on important topics such as “Black Men Leading at the Ballot Box,” and “Gen Z and Millennials Speak” (a panel for and by young people)
- Special Events & Canvassing Events with special guests, such as Food Truck Fridays and registration teams with registration by qualified organizations, including the Supervisor of Elections for stationary special events.
- Canvassing among Saturday Morning Hot Spots (barbershops, beauty salons, car detail shops and little league sports events) to promote registration
- Legal Technical Assistance – For voters and organizations involved in the campaign who have legal questions and needs related to their participation in this historic election.
